# Embroidery Digitizing

**What it is · what it costs.** Digitizing is the one-time process of converting your artwork into stitchable thread art. Required the first time we embroider a design at a given size.

## The short version

- Digitizing turns flat graphics into stitch instructions for our embroidery machines.
- It's a **one-time charge per size**. Embroider the same logo at chest size 10 times → you pay digitizing once.
- Different size = a new digitizing file. Chest, full back, and hat each need their own.

> **Good to know:** Once your design is digitized at a given size, it lives in your file with us — reorder anytime without paying digitizing again.
